Privacy Notice

Al Qadri Ventures (SSM No: SA0616806-T) is an accounting, zakat advisory and general takaful practice based in Bandar Puncak Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. This notice explains what personal data we handle in connection with this website and with enquiries you send us, and how you can contact us about it. It is written with reference to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) and its amendments.

1. What this website itself collects

This is a static website. It has no contact forms, no user accounts, no newsletter sign-up and no advertising or analytics tracking. That leaves two things:

• Language preference. The EN/BM switch remembers your choice using your browser's local storage, under the key lang. It stays on your own device and is never sent to us.
• Hosting logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This is used to operate, secure and diagnose the site.

We do not collect anything else through the website directly.

2. Data you give us when you contact us

If you call, WhatsApp or email us, we receive your name, your contact details and whatever information you choose to share, such as details about your business, your income or your tax position. Where you ask us to quote for general takaful, this can include the information needed to prepare that quotation.

• We use it to answer your enquiry and, where you engage us, to provide the services you have asked for.
• We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
• Where we need to pass information to a third party to deliver a service you have asked for, we do so only as needed for that purpose.

3. Third parties that receive data through this website

The site loads typefaces and links out to other services, so some third parties receive limited technical data:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) serves the fonts used here. Google receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request.
• WhatsApp (wa.me), Facebook and Instagram: if you click one of those links, the destination service's own privacy terms apply to what happens next.
• Google Maps: the address link on our pages opens Google Maps.

4. Client testimonials

Testimonials on this website are published only with the consent of the client named. Where a client has agreed to be named, we may show their name, business name, role, industry and a photograph or logo. Where a client prefers not to be named, only their role, industry and general area are shown.

• You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, and we will remove or anonymise the testimonial.
• Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place before you withdrew it.

5. Confidentiality

Information you share with us about your business, finances and tax affairs is treated as confidential. Access is limited to the team members who need it to do the work, and we do not disclose it to third parties without your authority, except where we are required or permitted to do so by law, by a regulator such as LHDN or SSM, or under a professional or court obligation.

Email and messaging apps are convenient but are not perfectly secure channels. Please avoid sending documents containing highly sensitive information through them unless we have agreed a method with you first.

6. How long we keep data

Enquiry correspondence is kept only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry. Where you engage us, we keep engagement, accounting and tax records for the period required by Malaysian tax and company requirements and by professional standards. After that, records are deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under Malaysian personal data protection law you may, among other things:

• request access to the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
• withdraw consent to processing, or ask us to limit it;
• ask questions about how your data is handled.

Requests can be made using the contact details in section 10. We may need to verify your identity first, and some requests may be limited by law or by our record-keeping obligations.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal data and we restrict access to those who need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our practices or the law change. The version published here always carries the "last updated" date shown at the top of the page.
